KICK THE STYX

  • “Kick The Styx is a 3D action horde survival game where you play as an angry satyr named Guh, armed with first-person melee combat in which the player fights off waves of enemies by knocking them off of a ship sailing the Styx while trying to stay alive.”

  • I served as the Producer and UI/UX Designer for this project. Working with 11 other members of different disciplines, I oversaw the pipeline process of the project, handled roadmaps and Scrum practices like sprints, as well as worked on various UI elements in the game and QA’d the game to ensure a satisfactory UX.

  • Worked on a tight schedule of roughly 10 weeks, constantly iterating and updating the game with our professor acting as our stakeholder. I honed my craft to learn how to scope control while also satisfying stakeholder needs.

  • The game was rated highly amongst peers and observers for its outstanding art style, as I learned how to better lead and collaborate with art-oriented discipline ICs.
