KILLCODE

  • Killcode is an immersive environmental horror game where players play as a doctor in a research facility, navigating PC files using a command line interface to uncover a mystery and avoid dying.

  • Developed for the 2024 Kaboom! Backlog 48-Hour Game Jam, where I served as Team Lead, Producer, and Game Designer.

  • Utilized tools like Trello, GitHub, Google Drive, and Discord for planning, task distribution, and communication.

  • Designed the main gameplay mechanic of interacting with the computer through console commands. I also implemented the disruption system, where the “monster” affects the player’s interactable elements, enhancing the horror experience.

  • Ranked #10 on Itch.io’s “Upcoming Horror Games” during the Game Jam period. Received positive feedback from judges for its unique gameplay and thematic integration.
