DEATHMATCH ISLAND

Deathmatch Island is a tabletop roleplaying game where players compete on a deadly island set pieces on a twisted show (akin to Hunger Games or Squid Games).

Worked with Tim Hutchings (creator of award-winning Thousand Year Old Vampire), Evil Hat Productions, and a multinational team (students from Manchester Metropolitan University) to iterate and solidify ideas.

Designed two unique areas: Harbor-06 and the Garden of the Damned. Collaborated on level design and gameplay mechanics (especially with other team members) focusing on narrative changes and player decisions that incited high-risk/high-reward scenarios.

The game surpassed fundraising goals, raising $161,870 (540% over initial request). The game received massive media attention and is in major news outlets.

My contributions are in the game’s book on “Adrift Isle”. I was one of the few Bradley students whom Tim had allowed/requested to work on this project.
